Employee Spotlight: Lucas Hardgrave, Lead Content Writer
Lucas oversees all the writerly things here at Legal InSites. He keeps the writing team on their toes, ensures everything we write and publish for our clients is the absolute best it can be, and maintains open conversations with all of our clients to make sure their content needs are met. Occasionally, he even gets to write a cool thing or two himself.
“I started out as Legal InSites’ only writer, but as we grew, we quickly realized that one of the ways we go above and beyond other marketing agencies is how we push for our content to not only have a great initial SEO push the second it’s live, but how we strive to keep our content stellar—by providing updates that keep up with the latest SEO practices. We saw the need to grow and maintain a full writing team—one that isn’t afraid to take on new challenges on a daily basis.”
Lucas loves the challenge and holds his writers to high standards. He approaches his work and most things in life with a thinking-outside-the-box approach and heaps of creativity. Thankfully, his writers usually appreciate his zany ideas—especially if they take the form of custom memes about ever-increasing wordcounts and giant soda cups.
When he’s not making Teamwork hate him, spending days lost in Word documents and 20+ open browser tabs, or creating “profeshinul”-looking things in Photoshop, he can usually be found lost in some other creative project he’s got going. Currently, he’s writing the script for an 8-bit RPG he’s creating with a few friends. When taking a break from writing things, he enjoys smacking things around as a bear tank in World in Warcraft, creating goofy things in Animal Crossing, and keeping his growing Lego collection safe from a cat and dog crime duo.
