We work hard to bring our clients the best SEO, social media, video marketing, and digital marketing results possible, but we also love letting our nerd flags shine in other areas, such as in the video games we play. Between our team members, we enjoy playing a bit of everything from competitive shooters to MMORPGs and story-based RPGs. Taking a break every now and then to focus on team building helps keep us on our toes and keeps our minds fresh for what really matters: our clients.
Given our competitive spirits, there’s no better charity event for our team than Extra Life. Extra Life is a charity fundraising event where gamers across the U.S. spend 24 hours gaming to raise money to help kids in local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. On Saturday, November 8th, our team will be playing games for 24 hours to raise funds for various children’s hospitals around the nation, including Omaha Children’s Hospital, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, and more. Our goal is to raise $5,000 that will go towards making miracles happen for families who desperately need them.
The children who benefit from any funds we raise will have an easier time getting the medical treatments and medications they need to battle cancer, cystic fibrosis, and other serious injuries and illnesses. The Extra Life event has raised over $132 million for sick and injured kids since it started in 2008. All donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of all donations we receive will go towards the kids.
